Hand over or take over a club
A club should outlive any one organiser. Here is how it changes hands.
Transfer ownership
- Only the principal admin can transfer the club, to another member found by name or @tag.
- TurnOrder asks for your password again before the transfer.
- Accounts that only sign in with Google set a password first, so nobody can transfer a club from an open Google session.
Take over a club
- If the club’s plan lapses, the club goes read-only, then is archived.
- A member can then take over the club with their own plan, and the history comes with it.
Close a club
- The principal admin can close the club, also after confirming the password.
